Which PCMCIA card?

I'm planning on running Red Hat Linux 6.0 on a Thinkpad 560, without a
CD-ROM drive. Hence, a good pcmcia ethernet card is essential - which one
should I go for? I need one that _definitely_ works with Linux, 98 and NT.

Looking at eBay, a used 3Com / Xircom (I'm only considering these two
brands) goes for about $60, not too bad.

Alternatively, is there a site somewhere I can look up the driver support
for these cards?

Also, any idea which modem card I should use? Or which combo card?
