After I heard about the warranty from you and everyone, it sure
doesn't seem like it.

When you meant bum, you meant like low quality chips right? I
know NMBS is a brand that absolutely sucks and the chip is slower than
it's rated at.

Hmmm, so even Crucial does the same thing too? I always thought
Crucial would just use the memory that is made by Micron or is Crucial
just a part of Micron that doesn't even use Micron chips?

I never noticed that one of the socket was upside down since I did
take out the memory and put it back in except it's hard to tell which slot
is which.

How did they fix it so the chip will work in both slots correctly
since if it's fixed for the upside down socket, wouldn't it have a problem
with the other slot?

Yeah, I heard of Viking for memory but never got my hands on any.
The guy sold me NEC instead when it was supposed to be Viking a year ago.
Viking didn't seem to make anything else besides memory and now they have
like modems too.

I guess their quality really has gone down then. When SyncBurst
or Pieline Burst Caching first came out for the pentium, you had to buy it

Actually, thanks to Donald. It seems like the 770ED Quick-start
mentions the card while the 770Z one doesn't.

Hehe, atleast 3.2 gigs is still better than that 2.1 gig I have in
the 385ED still.. The only problem I'm experiencing is when the system
starts up, there is 80% free GDI resources, and 18% each on System and
User resources. It has something to do with the preload or the IBM/Intel
Lan Desk Management.
