A while back I wrote about a problem I had with suspend. When I came home one day and pulled out the notebook it was very hot. Apparently it had come out of suspend at some point and in the carrying case it built up a lot of heat.
Today I may have found the culprit. I noticed that when the notebook is in suspend and I plug a phone line into the modem it will bring the system out of suspend. On removing the phone line it does not wake the system, which is what most people probably would do after a suspend.
I thought that interesting enough to alert others to this 'shortcoming' as I for one was not to happy to come home and find a burning notebook and the battery at 30%.
