But be careful, many of the exit rows on United 757s don't have underseat luggage
space. If (as is often the case) people in the back of the plane have filled up the
overhead bins on their way by, the airline human will want to check your precious
thinkpad or stash it somewhere else on the plane.
Normally, I keep the thinkpad on my lap on top of the case. I'm always vigilant about
the person in front getting a sometimes violent urge to recline. I never use the tray
tables.
