Many thanks to those folks who gave me suggestions as to what needed
to be in my Config.sys to get my internal modem working. Unfortunately
I couldn't figure it out due to either missing statements, incorrect
order or countless other things. However, I have managed to get the
installation to work properly by using up 2GB of disk space by
creating some dummy files - how do I get this info through to someone
at IBM? This is a huge bug in the installation routine! The README.TXT
insists that 'No installation errors have been reported'!!!!
It also says to contact product support if a problem is encountered,
without actually giving any contact info... :-(.
Now that it is installed I see the same lines as given to me by
letoured, so I'm not sure why it didn't work - I had updated all the
path statements as well...
One thing I haven't figured out is how do I get the internal modem to
use COM1? Can't see any options for doing this...
