TP760CD RISC chip

A question regarding the TP760CD.

I understand it has a RISC chip (40MHZ) to help with
full motion video. Does this chip augment the cpu in
any other way?

Likewise for the DSP (sound) chip?

I was wondering whether this arrangement provided a
boost to the (now ancient) p120 cpu.

I am no hardware guru, but it seems unsual to have
three chips?
