Here's another question. Does it matter if I get an IBM battery or
third-party?

The IBM batteries (TP600) are apparently quite hard to get right
now, but Inmac and CompUSA claim to have them in stock for U$240.
CompUSA also has an Xtend Micro battery for the 600 for U$250. I'm
sure I've seen at least one other third-party brand of battery,
although I can't figure out where.

Can anyone comment on the Xtend Micro vs. the IBM? And any
recommendation(s) for other batteries?

Thanks!
