HAH..
lotsa questions, little time, but here goes with fast answers..

all of the above and below..usually IRQ's are a part of resources..
but it gets more involved than that..
some misbehaved apps will "take" memory, and when they are terminated, they
don't release the memory back to the "pool" of available memory..
so, your resources can slowly evaporate throughout the day..
IRQ's OTH are fixed and the 770ED will want all of them..
then newer the OS, the better it should handle sharing IRQ's..

yes and no..see below..

yes, maybe..depends upon which apps you are running..
basically, more memory is GOOD..! :-)

no 256 meg parts for the 770..arcitecture does not support it and there are no
chips, yes, for notebook memory..

no..you can ALSO max the memory and make a RAM drive..
much fgaster than a HDD..
(i've not done this and have heard of no one doing this.. yet..)

i'm not sure either..

theres a little known appled hiding in your C:\Windows directory..its called
MSCONFIG.EXE..
that will help with the systray a bit..

YIKES..!!uhh..
maybe (if you are running win95 still), USB is a port in the back, yes, MORE
is GOOD..!!
:-)

> Also, how about Win 2000?

what about it.. ?

spring 2002..

yes..

Yae, verilly, brother, so would we all..BUT, lots of that crashing can be
attributed to rogue apps and misbehaved drivers and the like..
ALWAYS keep the bios up to date..
and the rest of the usual suspects..

BTW: the 128meg memory part just came down a bit..
though i have not had the time to update my web site, so that kingston is
either at market or probably higher..
i won't post prices here since this is not a marketing venue.. :-)
unless someone askes me to do so..
