My Nokia 5160 digital "cell" phone has a modem inside it.

I realize this type connection is s l o w, but methinks slow beats
no connection.

The wire connecting the phone to the serial port is 45$ US. There
is a 'data kit' that costs $190 US.

Is the cable all that is needed? The company guys don't have a
clue.
