I had missed your info about your total RAM.

It seems that we both are trying to understand how Win95
handles its resources... and it seems that as with $$$$
"more is better but it's never enough (for some...)..."

I'd been trying to put the swapfile into a ramdrive, but
Win95 doesn't list the ramdrives in the virtual memory
setup. Do you know of other way to try it?
