I've run into a problem with NT. This might be more of a software issue than
hardware, but anyways - In NT 4 (which I'm running now, and it runs quite well),
however (since I'm using a small hard drive now), I use it to play MP3's in my car
quite a bit, and with the HD being only 1.4GB, I run some apps off my TP750
(through the network one way or the other).

Only problem is when I suspend, I lose that connectivity.

In Windows 2000 however, everything works *except* for sound. It install's it's own
mwave drivers. If I try to install over it, it complains. I've tried using the NT4 drivers
with minimul success (only sound during boot), and Win98 drivers with less success.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or would I be better off waiting for Win 2K
Release Candidate 2 (which I'll be obtaining from a seminar on Oct. 12)? Or
is this machine not too suitable for Win 2K?

On a side note, I upgraded to 80MB, and despite Win 2K asking for a P166 minimum,
it runs quite well on my machine otherwise.

Paul
