This is a pretty ancient laptop (Millenium Transport P133), so the comparison is not apt, but it was fastest in class when I bought
it and it has served me well as a research luggable (we run simulations on it, it used to float between 3 people but now pretty much
stays on my desk). It is several years old now, and has been working flawlessly 24/7 during most of that period, which is a good
recommendation. Alas, the CD no longer works. (Of course, unlike IBM Micron doesn't continue to update system files on older
machines - a little like Gravis w/r to the Ultrasound in that regard!)

The dual pointer device was really useful for a shared machine - I like the trackpoint (natch), the others preferred the touchpad.
