Just a futher note - if you want to run Sun Solaris x86,
the only supported PCMCIA card is the 3C589 (or the
new version with a different number) from 3Com.
(I'm running Solaris 7 x86 on a 770E with 224 MB of RAM -
works VERY nicely with the Xi Graphics Laptop Xserver
which is also available for Linux. Solaris is oh so
much more stable than NT4 as installed by IBM and I
can run most (but not all) of what I need to under
the Intel version of Solaris 7.)
