Hi Mark...
Been there many times with the T/P 390 and 600s and 3Com... Excellent
choice for a NIC.... I don't have my 600 in front of me but it's a power
management thing to PCMCIA cards...
Go to ThinkPad features... top battery choice left side in the middle ...
and turn off auto...something or other... to PCMCIA cards. This is from
memory.... which can be flakey at times...<g>
Don't forget to re-run SP4 or you'll get an error message and you can
others in Network Neighbourhood <Cdn. spelling> but others willn't see you..
