PalmV/WorkPad c3: newer coming?

The WorkPad c3 is a clone of the Palm V (made by Palm I
understand). There's now a Palm Vx, with 8Mb and possibly other
benefits.

Is there a corresponding WorkPad coming? Mostly I don't like the
aluminum finish of the Palm V and would prefer black, although I
suspect it's shiny black and not the matte black of my TP600.

Are there actually any other differences between the Palm and
WorkPad?
