At the risk of inserting needless confusion, it should be noted that another way of connecting
W95 machines across an IR link is to create 'virtual' modems on the IR ports (a fellow named Kevin Wells has created an .inf file
for this purpose), then run Dial-Up Networking Server on one machine
using this port, and Dial-Up Networking on the other. That way one doesn't need to fuss with
some of the peculiarities of DCC (for example, that different builds sometimes won't communicate).
