It's possible and easy to format HD floppies to ED densities and use most
of the disk on the SAME DRIVE you used to format the disk. Trying to use
this disk in another ED drive will likely be either humorous or tragic,
depending on your viewpoint.
I've got a 750P with the ED drive. I bought exactly one box of ten ED
floppies years ago and recently reformatted them to HD because no other
machine I've been around has an ED drive.
