Was that on a serial or parallel connection? When I first got the
TP, I wanted to move files over from my desktop machine. Of course
I bought a serial cable because "that's what you use" for
communication. I ignored the advice of the guy in the store who
told me to use parallel.
The serial was so slow I went out a bought parallel. It flew! (At
least in comparison to the serial; of course ethernet is much
faster).
