I've decided to go ahead and install Windows 98 on my TP600 to get
access to the full capacity of my new 10gig HD.
It seems to me the best thing is probably to install Windows 98
>from scratch onto my new HD, rather than upgrading the Windows 95
I'm already running. But the box says the Win98 upgrade will look
for Win95 before it will install. Does that mean I should install
my original Win95 from my recovery CD, then install Win98 as an
upgrade, but on that clean Win95?
I've read the documentation on IBM's site and plan to do all the
BIOS and other upgrades first.
Or am I taking the wrong approach altogether?
Thanks!
andrew
