I've been working on this, and so far have found the following:

Pen Services 1 (Win 3.1)

Portrait screen driver ROTATE.DRV from NCR31xx package works fine,
provided you get the 82KB ROTATE.DRV - there's also a ~45KB one on the
PS 1 packages which doesn't work. Change DISPLAY.DRV= in system.INI to
reference ROTATE.DRV; stick the file in C:\windows\system.

One of the other vendor PS 1 packages contains a Control Panel applet
which rotates the screen; need to track it down again...!

I only recently found a URL for the PS 1 TP730 driver, so I've yet to
get that rotated (I suspect it'll be harder than doing the PS 2 driver).

Pen Services 2 (Win 95)

Ah, more success here. Again, use ROTATE.DRV exactly as above, but you
may get some video corruption, and only 16 colours are supported (hey,
the screen is only a 16-greyscale device anyway...).

As to the digitiser drivers, I modified the standard TP730TE driver of
PS 2 so that it was rotated by 90 degrees.

I've yet to get the packaging properly sorted out, but you can get the
details and necessary files from

http://www.basterfield.com/tp730/win95/win95-4.htm

I have my TP730 in the cradle, running portrait-style all the time. Top!
Here's a screen shot I took - it's actually very usable:

Have a look around the website; it's nowhere near sorted out yet, but
it's got most of what you need to get Win95 / PS 2 going, and I'm
working on Win 3.1 / PS 1. If you need links to Pen Services software
etc., check out this (unfinished) page:

Comments/suggestions welcome!

Cheers,
Dan.
