There are a bunch of screws that hold this in place and one might be missing
or loose..
or there might be a wire pinched between the base and keyboard..

take out the CD and battery and give it a visual inspection..

you can look at the IBM hardware manuals on their web site for screw
placement and which screws are used for the keyboard..

if it was done at easy serve, note that they have improved over the last
months and that they do these all the time (unless you got a new tech)...
