Thanks for the suggestion. I obviously don't need my network card
on the road, so I'll look around (only have a couple of weeks so I
may have to do without).

Not "going" bad, but I guess it's QC issues, or shoddy connections.
 Won't know until I get somewhere with it! But you're right, it's
like cheap computer parts, they really aren't any worse than brand
name!
