600X memory specs

After happily owning two ThinkPads (first a 560 Type:
#2640-50A then a 560X Type: #2640-70U) I've finally
decided to go the 600X route. I ordered a 2645-4EU
today.

However, I'm having some trouble determining if the memory
for earlier 600's and 600E's will work. Any one have
any ideas?

Also, any suggestions for buying 64mb of memory at decent
prices would be appreciated.
