Just don't get the TP mixed up! [sorry]

But surely the shaver outlet will be ungrounded? I shouldn't be
using that with my computer! (Should I?). I like your idea of the
power cable. I remember when I was in England many years ago, all
appliances came without a plug. Someone said it was because for 20
(or 30 or 40 or whatever) years, the UK had been planning on a new
standard, but it never happened. Meanwhile they kept selling
appliances plugless in case a new standard leapt on the scene!

I checked at Radio Shack today and they want C$5 (~U$3.65) for an
ungrounded UK power adapter. Which isn't that much cheaper than
the U$4 from the Utah site.

This adapter had a plastic third prong (as does the $4 ungrounded
one on the site). The RS guy was trying to tell me that they're
all like that, but I don't believe him (it only had two jacks on
the North-America side, so it wouldn't be any use to my TP anyway).
I think the UK phone adapter was about C$12, which _is_ much
cheaper than the U$13 (C$20) online.

Staples had a Samsonite travel site (multiple adapters, 4+3 I
think?) for C$27, which really isn't that much more than $12 for
the phone and (estimating) $9 for the grounded power at RS.
