I've just resurrected a 755CX which cost me $40 plus a swap for a 1GB hard disk drive, and it's a little better than my old 755C in a number of departments, so I'm going to use it as my main machine and the 755C can stay at home sitting on the DOCK I as a backup.
It came complete with win 95 on the HDD, so I'm going to keep that as an alternative to my WFW and Linux hard disks.
I've got a question about batteries, it came with a NiMH battery but I also have a couple of Li-ION batteries which will physically fit - although the voltage is higher. Will the 755CX grok both? The specs in twbook.pdf say so.
How do you tell the difference between 640x480 and 800x600 screens?
How do I tell if mwave is installed? What about 50MHz or 75MHz pentiums?
Are thre any funky apps out there to use the IR port for various things, e.g. control VCR's, read/emulate remote controls, etc.
