Not a bad idea. The only problem I had last September was getting
a 760CD Mwave to recognize the French tones. Never would. I
bought a 3COM "global" pc card modem (the only pc card modem
I could find) and it worked flawlessly. Still does, but back home, so
does the Mwave. The Mwave worked everywhere I went except for
Paris.
