Are you saying that the external power (Dock 2) went out?
You would need to remove the 760 from the Dock and re-boot, it does not
know if it is docked or undocked because it was not shut down properly.
If you had a bad battery, it can clank the system when you discharge. I
have seen this before, it is possible your battery is at the end of
its life.
