Just a bit more information on this... Make sure you have the IBM *display
driver* installed, not just the ThinkPad Configuration program. It's the
display driver that allows you to run 1024x768. The ThinkPad Configuration
program has little or nothing to do with it. In fact, you don't need the
ThinkPad Configuration program installed at all to run 1024x768.
If you went to the NT Display control panel and found that the Screen Area
slider did not have a setting for 1024x768, that means you're not running
the proper display driver. (Probably running the standard VGA driver.) In
that case, go to the IBM support site and find the NT display driver and
install it. Then you will be all set.
