I agree with James the Elder..
BUT, start out with more honey than fulminations..
ask them what makes them thing that YOU are responsible for the system board
dying..?
then escalate the matter...
i had a 770-3AU that had a very strange problem with the display.. thousands of
white specs (not stuck pixels) that, when viewed in a dark environment, appeared
like the milky way on a dark night..
i finally convinced a supervisor to take the machine into a dark room, and..
VIOLA!! they saw it, did the same head scratch routine i had already done here at
home, and i got the new display..
SO, sometimes it takes some work on the telephone..
