Ummm... there're already working drivers. Thinkpad 600Es are one of the
two "supported" notebook platforms here at Cisco, and I know of at least
one or two Linux users who've gotten their MWave modems working with the
Lucent drivers. Mind you, they're binary (no source, *sigh*), but it
works. If they're going to start pre-loading it, I'll be surprised if
they don't get it going.
