Ron,

When this happens, are you plugged in or on battery power? After replacing a
32MB memory chip with a 64MB one, I have had this same experience when running
Win98 on battery power on my 770. It never happens while plugged in. It also
doesn't happen under NT4 when on battery.

If you've recently changed RAM configuration or have been working from battery
more often lately, then maybe you're experiencing the same thing.
