what you have is the bare HDD, what you need is the HDD caddy...
i have some pictured on my web site..
the one that came with your machine is unlikely to work with the 1.2gig drive,
but it IS worth a try..

its tricky to explain just how to remove the old caddy..
but start with the two screws at the plug end, then (looking at the caddy wioth
the plug end up and the label facing you) locate the top left most "hook"..
you must weork it free from where it latches the side..
this will make the others on that side easier to work free, then that side will
fold down and you're home free.. :-)
this plastic is very flexible and unlikely to tear..
