When I got my (very used) 701C, it had the same problem: sticky keys. My
solution was to pop off each of the keycaps and put a drop of oil
(actually, some kind of pink-colored synthetic bicycle lubricant I had
laying around) on the back posts of each of the keycaps. Unfortunately,
someone else managed to drop one of the keycaps on the floor and I stepped
on it, breaking off the post, so now my 'R' key is a bit wobbly...
Anyway, it wasn't a perfect fix, but the keyboard definitely works more
smoothly now than it did before.
