Can you try describing your problem again. What are the symptoms?
During normal drive activity the drive randomly resets. When the drive is
reset it unloads the heads, reloads the heads and finally does a calibration
sweep.
What do you mean by the drive randomly resetting?
Presents a clunk from the drive...
Are you saying that
you can't access the drive after this occurs?
No works fine. As I said during normal activity the drive periodically
resets.
What version of Win2000
are you running?
Pro - production release.
What kind of HD are we talking about?
4GB IBM-DTCA-24090
