it IS, on occasion, impossible, to get a straight answer (or at least the
SAME answer) from IBM.. :-)
it MAY be, that a service pack extended warranty is not transferable..
all other original thinkpad warranties ARE transferrable, with or without an
invoice..
without an invoice, warranty start date is mfg. date..
WITH the original sales invoice, warranty starts on initial sale date..
