Hello ThinkPad Users,
I'm looking at the IBM Support web site, and see the relatively new
"TP General - CD/DVD-ROM Firmware Update Utility diskette". I'm
confused by it, though.
Reading the title, it appears to apply to the DVD-ROM drive. However,
the supported models list does *not* include the 770ED. Also, the text
on the page only talks about the CD-ROM drive.
Does anyone know if this is actually something that should be
installed for the DVD-ROM that came with the 770ED systems? Is it
really only for Win2000 systems, or does it help DVD-ROM capability
with other operating systems, too?
Thanks!
Ron.
