Wow, one just went for $100.33 on eBAy - ridiculous - so why is everyone hiding
them in the back of their safes now?
I did get Windows 95B on mine with the help of a Thinkpad 755C in a docking
station II - booted to the PCMCIA drive and setup off the CD-ROM. When setup
said restart, I tried restarting in the 730T and it worked. Then I put Win98
Drivespace on it and compressed the drive and then I was able to (back in the
755C) put the Win95 setup files on the drive. This made it easier in the 730T to
adjust drivers, etc. When I have it all setup I'll delete the setup files and
have plenty of room (ha). I am trying - er - in the process of installing a
PCMCIA CD-ROM. That might make life easier. Next I will try to install an
Avatar Shark drive. Oh what fun (and time waste).
Basterfield's pages sure have helped - Thanks Dan (the man).
