I'm not sure what those beeps mean (thats a Bill Morrow q), but I would
suggest trying to boot it again, and making backups of all your important
files, right then. It could well be a disk problem, and you're just lucky
enough to have it still working at the moment. Far better to be safe than
lose eveything.
