--Just to make sure, you have played with the hibernation and suspend
settings right? IBM seems to have an additional setting to the regular
windows suspend which is called hibernate which is a little different. Just
go through your BIOS settings to check them. If all that is green, it
really sounds like a defective main board that is suspending or hibernating
your system intermittently, and or suspending due to incorrect power
readings. It all points back to the main board. That's my take on it. I
would definitely have a talk with a supervisor at their customer service and
explain the whole situation and what you have gone through. Be sure to
document what they have done so far though. If you can show IBM that they
have wasted enough money trying to repair it you're more likely to get
bigger parts replaced. It took a friend of mine two or three servicings
before they replaced her whole display screen. Good luck, hope I've helped.
