The OS/2 modem driver for the thinkpad is a rather pathetic excuse of
a driver.
If you have a large harddrive (with most of it free >2gb) then it will not
install, gives some error that it can't copy some file. The solution is to
fill your harddrive to go bellow 2gigs and then install the driver.
The driver also doesn't support 56K, but goes up to 33.6 only. I bet
IBM doesn't really care to upgrade it...
