FWIW, both of my 600s (PII 266 W98SE and PII 300 W2K) have the latest V90
updates and the modems work just fine. I consistently get 49K connects on the
same phoneline on which my desktop Zoom Dualmode can only achieve 44K.

If I switch to the phone line my wife had installed for her office, the 600s go
to 52K and the Zoom goes to 49K. Seems as though the lines have a lot more to do
with connect speeds than I would have thought possible given that all six of the
lines coming into my house are connected to the same phone co. office.

Regards,

James
