18GB drive for TP600E: IBM vs. Toshiba

Hi,

I'm considering replacing the 6.4GB drive in my TP600E with a 18GB one.
The particular drives I have in mind are the IBM Travelstar 18GT
(http://www.storage.ibm.com/hardsoft/diskdrdl/travel/25gs18gt12gndata.htm)
and the Toshiba MK-1814
(http://www.toshiba.com/taecdpd/products/spec/MK1814-Spec.shtml).

What should I think of the vibration and shock ratings? Do they actually
mean something in practice?

Any comments (good or bad) about either drive? Anyone using one of these
in a TP600?
