that cable was called (big surprise) the Dock-1 to External Floppy
Cable..
when it was available..
long gone now..
there are some examples around.. same plug on both ends, color coded
since one end is specific to the external floppy and the other to either
the dock-1 or dock-2 or 760 series thinkpads that supported the external
floppy..
i have one that i use from time to time.. can't sell it and i'm fearful
of damaging it if i try to disassemble it to get the pinout..
BTW: the external floppy works on many thinkpads.. 365, 701, 760, 770,
560.. but not the 600 AFAIK for some reason..
(the 560 cable fits but does not work)
