TP600: how to get rid of trackpoint icon in Win98 tray

I have just installed the TrackPoint IV drivers on the Win98 partition of
my TP600E and it put a small icon in the tray (next to the date). As I
don't see a need to access it on a daily basis, I'd like to get rid of it,
but I haven't found a way. Is this possible? Sorry if this is a dumb
question, but I'm more familiar with OS/2 than Win9x.
