its not ther floppy drive..
the graphic is telliong you to insert an operating system diskette..

try reseating the HDD.. it might have come loose..

the 3 year warranty runs from the mfg. date if there is no original invoice..

as a last resort, pull everything except the HDD (memory and all) then try to reboot..
don't forget that there is a reset button on the back, between the expansion plug and the, uhh.. ext. video plug..
