Many others have answered to your question with sensible responces,
so i am not going to say anything new.
If you install Linux, you get a REAL operating system, unlike Winshit.
What do i mean by REAL operating system? well you'll have to use it
to see for your self. I've been running OS/2 and Linux systems for many
years and there is no way to describe how a real operating system is like.
To give you one example, 3 months of uptime is a bare minimum for
an average OS/2 or Linux system. Something that you dont see with Winshit
very often.
