This deals with a TP 755CD on a Dock II or port replicator.
I would like to get the TP to work with 2 FDD ( the internal FDD and the
external 750 FDD external attachment kit w/ FDD in it). Under DOS, the TP
sees them both;
Win95 will see them both if:
I exit Win95 and restart in DOS mode,
then inquire about B: (such as B: [enter] then dir [enter] ),
inquire about A: and
then load Win95 with "win" from the C:\WINDOWS dir
In examining the Hardware settings, I noticed that when Win95 recognizes the
two GENERIC NEC FLOPPY DISK device listings show up in the System
Properties, Device Manager, Disk drives list
(from the Settings, one is for A: and the other is for B: )
I've tried breaking the contact for Pin #4 (Drive Select) and taking that
pin to ground ..... no effect.
My goal is to get Win95 to recognize both FDD drives without having to go
through this trip thru DOS 7; any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
