I just bought yet another TP600e, this one a new 400MHz/10GB/DVD,
>from Egghead/OnSale.com for $2309 on one of their Yankee Auctions,
and I need to add memory to it.
Is memory just "memory" or is there more to it than that? I see that
Coast to Coast Memory sells 128MB memories for TP600e's for just
$116.47 each but other cmpanies offer similar modules for even less
or for many times that price.
Is there anything to choose between cheap and expensive memories
except for say customer service and warranties? (Coast says that
their warranty is "lifetime", but I'm not clear whether its my life
or the life of the computer or the life of their company or just the
life of the memory module.)
Regards to all.
