I wouldn't count on the 2645-8AU's having Win98. If the type/model number
doesn't match Egghead's description, I'd be inclined to believe the
type/model number. An 8AU should have NT packed with it, not Win98. I don't
think IBM would send out a factory-sealed box, even for a refurbished
machine, with a different operating system from the spec. If they were going
to do that, they would change the model number of the machine. Usually they
do that on the refurbs anyway, like they did with the 4AU's, which they
renumbered as 2645-RRC's. So who knows what those 8AU's may actually turn
out to be...
