there are really cheap and easy to use 2.5 to 3.5 HDD adapters..
that is adapt a 2.5 inch drive (with 2mm center to center ribbon cable) to the 3.5inch standard (2.5mm center to center ribbon cable)..
and pin 1 is marked..
